468MP is well suited for bonding together a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials such as metals, paints, wood,glass and some plastics.
468MP is a long ageing and resistant product used extensively by the nameplate industry decorative trim. Automotive Industry.
Feature:
is a firm acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive system. It features high ultimate bond strength with excellent high temperature performance and excellent solvent resistance. Bond strength increases substantially with natural ageing.
High performance 468MP/200MP pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive on 58 lb polycoated kraft paper liner. High temperature formulation, solvent resistance, shear adhesion and HSE, low LSE. Use for general industrial joining. 5.0 mil thick with 4.0 mil liner.

Application Techniques
Bond strength is dependent upon the amount of adhesive-to-surface contact developed. Firm application pressure and
moderate heat, from 100°F （38°C） to 130°F （54°C）, will assist the adhesive in developing intimate contact with the bonding surface.
To obtain optimum adhesion, the bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and well unified. Some typical surface cleaning solvents are isopropyl alcohol or heptane.*
Ideal tape application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F （21°C to 38°C）. Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures
below 50°F （10°C） is not recommended because the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. However, once properly applied, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory.

* To reach good adhesive result, please be sure the surface clean and dry.
* Best using temp. is around 21~38 centidegree, we don't recommend to be sticky when temp. is below 10 centidgree.
